Knowledge of and ability to provide instruction that is specially designed to meet the needs of high school students with disabilities in a Co-teaching, Special Class, and Resource Room setting. Knowledge of NYS CCLS in Earth Science; Excessive knowledge of and ability to implement strategies to address the needs of diverse learners; Experience utilizing formative assessments to inform instructional decision making; Skilled at working with diverse student populations; Ability to implement behavioral and positive effective classroom management strategies. Experience with effectively managing student behavior. Capacity to utilize technology to enhance practice. Must be certified in Students with Disabilities Generalist 5-9 or 7-12, Earth Science Content extension 7-12 preferred.
