Knowledge of and ability to provide instruction that is specially designed to meet the needs of primary-elementary school students with disabilities in a Special Class setting. Must have a strong knowledge of instructional strategies and research-based interventions to address the needs of a diverse group of learners, including students with Autism, with a strong emphasis on reading, writing, math skills and developing social communication skills. Must also have knowledge of and ability to implement positive and effective classroom management strategies. Must be certified in Students with Disabilities Birth - grade 2 and Students with Disabilities 1-6.
