Works collaboratively in the district’s vision for a Drug and Alcohol Awareness program, ensuring alignment with and support for all extracurricular activities across the district. Knowledge of and ability to implement strategies to address the needs of diverse learners; Knowledge of Health and Physical Education standards and curriculum; Willingness to work with special education students; Knowledge of and ability to implement positive, effective classroom management strategies; Experience utilizing formative assessments to inform instructional decision-making; Ability to implement behavioral and positive effective classroom management strategies and effectively managing student behavior. Capacity to utilize technology to enhance practice; Willingness to work with special education students in an inclusion classroom, as well as ENL students; Must possess New York State Certification in Health and Physical Education.
