Knowledge of and ability to provide instruction that is specially designed to meet the needs of students with disabilities in a Special Class or Integrated Co-Teaching setting at the elementary level. Must have a strong knowledge of instructional strategies and research-based interventions to address the needs of a diverse group of learners, including students with behavioral needs, with a strong emphasis on reading, writing, and math skills. Must have excessive knowledge of and ability to implement positive and effective classroom management strategies. Must possess certification in Students with Disabilities, Grades 1-6, and Students with Disabilities, Birth - Grade 2.
