Job Description

Awareness of and willingness to collaborate with the functional special class teacher to assist in planning and providing instruction, interventions and research-based support of students’ pre-academic and daily living skills. Knowledge of developmental disabilities and functional life skills to coordinate instruction with the functional special class teacher.

Some examples of responsibilities to include but are not limited to:

• Teaching daily living skills lessons to students with moderate/severe disabilities,
•  Reinforcing lessons delivered by teacher,
•  Helping to progress monitor students’ IEP goals,
• Maintaining classroom routines...
