Lead and support the district’s vision for a Drug and Alcohol Awareness program, ensuring alignment with and support for all extracurricular activities across the district.Knowledge of and ability to implement strategies to address the needs of diverse learners; Knowledge of Health standards and curriculum; Willingness to work with special education students; Knowledge of and ability to implement positive effective classroom management strategies; Experience utilizing formative assessments to inform instructional decision making; Ability to implement behavioral and positive effective classroom management strategies and effectively managing student behavior. Capacity to utilize technology to enhance practice; Willingness to work with special education students in an inclusion classroom, as well as ENL students; Must possess New York State Certification in Health; certification in Physical Education certification or experience preferred.
