Knowledge of and ability to provide instruction that is specially designed to meet the needs of middle school students with disabilities in a Co-teaching, Special Class, and Resource Room setting. Knowledge of NYS Learning Standards in grades 6 - 8 Math; Excessive knowledge of and ability to implement strategies to address the needs of diverse learners; Experience utilizing formative assessments to inform instructional decision making; Skilled at working with diverse student populations; Ability to implement effective behavioral and positive classroom management strategies. Capacity to utilize technology to enhance practice. Must be certified in Students with Disabilities (Generalist) 5-9 or 7-12, Math Content extension 7-12 preferred.
