PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Type forms, form letters, bills, requisitions, vouchers, records, reports, and similar materials;
  2. Addresses envelopes/labels/correspondence using a computer;
  3. Proofreads all documents and materials;
  4. Answers telephone, takes messages, relays information directly or with communication systems;
  5. Sorts correspondence, invoices, and similar materials;
  6. Performs and checks routine mathematical computations;
  7. Files correspondence, memoranda, reports, and similar materials;
  8. Serves as receptionist, directing callers to the proper person or office and gives information of routine nature;
  9. Operates a variety of office technology.
  10. Performs related work as necessary.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Type accounting and financial statements, payrolls, statistical tabulations and data, memoranda, vouchers, reports, requisitions and other materials;
  2. Reviews accounts, reports and other documents for completeness, accuracy, and conformity with established procedures;
  3. Indexes and files all documents and correspondence;
  4. Searches, locates, and records papers and documents;
  5. Assembles a variety of data from office records for incorporation into various reports;
  6. Prepares payrolls and maintains time cards;
  7. Composes and types routine correspondence;
  8. Assists in proofreading typewritten and printed material;
  9. Answers the telephone, gives routine information to the public and makes appointments for supervisor(s);
  10. Operates a calculator, photocopier, and computer;
  11. Collects and maintains records of fees collected by the office;
  12. Assigns lower ranking employees to duties which assist teachers, parents, and students;
  13. Performs related work as needed.
