| Substitute: School Lunch Monitor | | JOB GOAL: To assist in the supervision and management of students in the school lunch line and dining areas. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assists students through the cafeteria serving line and to direct them to their proper seats (elementary level);
- Keep the lunch line orderly;
- Encourage students to eat and behave in a quiet, orderly manner;
- Reports to the appropriate teacher or administrator any serious disturbance that cannot be corrected by the monitor;
- Encourages students to bus their own trays and keep their eating area clean;
- Assists in returning trays and cleaning areas where students have neglected or forgotten to do so;
- Reports breakage, spillage, etc., to the Custodian as soon as possible;
- Reports any unsafe or unsatisfactory conditions to the Head Cook as soon as possible;
- Performs related tasks as assigned by the Building Principal.
