 Knowledge of and ability to provide instruction that is specially designed to meet the needs of high school students with disabilities in a Co-teaching, Special Class, and Resource Room setting. Experience in teaching grades 9 - 12 English Languages to students with disabilities.  Excessive knowledge of and ability to implement strategies to address the needs of diverse learners; Experience utilizing formative assessments to inform instructional decision-making; Skilled at working with diverse student populations; Ability to implement behavioral and positive effective classroom management strategies. Experience with effectively managing student behavior. Capacity to utilize technology to enhance practice.  Must possess New York State Certification: Permanent Special Education or Students with Disabilities 7-12, English Language Arts Content extension(s) 7-12
