Must have knowledge of and ability to provide instruction that is specially designed to meet the needs of elementary students in a Co-teaching, Consultant Teaching and Resource Room setting.  Must have a strong knowledge of instructional strategies and research-based interventions to address the needs of a diverse group of learners, with a strong emphasis in reading, writing and math skills.  Must also have knowledge of and ability to implement positive and effective classroom management strategies. Must be certified Students with Disabilities Birth - grade 2, Students with Disabilities 1-6.

$155.00-$235.77 per diem
Special Education/Science24-01

Knowledge of and ability to provide instruction that is specially designed to meet the needs of high school students with disabilities in a Co-teaching, Special Class, and Resource Room setting. Experience in teaching grades 9 - 12 Science to students with disabilities.  Excessive knowledge of and ability to implement strategies to address the needs of diverse learners; Experience utilizing formative assessments to inform instructional decision making; Skilled at working with diverse student populations; Ability to implement behavioral and positive effective classroom management strategies. Experience with effectively managing student behavior. Capacity to utilize technology to enhance practice.  Must possess New York State Certification: Permanent Special Education or Students with Disabilities 7-12, Science Content extension(s) 7-12 (Earth Science and Biology preferred).
