Knowledge and ability to implement a functional Life Skills based curriculum using strategies to address the needs of diverse learners. Knowledge of and ability to implement a functional reading curriculum. Must also have knowledge of and ability to implement positive and effective classroom management strategies. Knowledge of New York State Alternative Assessment. Ability to work and collaborate with people as part of a multidisciplinary team.  Must be certified in Students with Disabilities 1-6.
