Knowledge of and ability to provide instruction that is specially designed to meet the needs of students with disabilities in a Special Class or Integrated Co-Teaching setting at the elementary level. Must have a strong knowledge of instructional strategies and research-based interventions to address the needs of a diverse group of learners, including students with behavioral and social communication needs, with a strong emphasis on reading, writing, and math skills.   Must have excessive knowledge of and ability to implement positive and effective classroom management strategies.  Must be certified in Students with Disabilities 1-6 and Students with Disabilities Birth - Grade 2.
