Knowledge of and ability to implement strategies to address the needs of diverse learners; Knowledge of English standards and curriculum; Willingness to work with special education students; Knowledge of and ability to implement positive effective classroom management strategies; Experience utilizing formative assessments to inform instructional decision-making; Ability to implement behavioral and positive effective classroom management strategies and effectively managing student behavior. Capacity to utilize technology to enhance practice; Willingness to work with special education students in an inclusion classroom, as well as ENL students; Must possess New York State Certification English 7-12.

Knowledge of and ability to provide instruction that is specially designed to meet the needs of middle school students in a Special Class setting. Must have a strong knowledge of instructional strategies and research-based interventions to address the needs of a diverse group of learners, with a strong emphasis on reading, writing and math skills. Must also have knowledge of and ability to implement positive and effective classroom management strategies. Must be certified Students with Disabilities, Grades 1-6.
