JOB GOAL:  To maintain a high standard of cleanliness that will ensure students and staff optimum sanitary conditions while engaging in the teaching/learning process.

 

MISSION:  Perform duties and responsibilities with a positive attitude that will reflect credit upon yourself and the Frontier Central School District.

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Cleans tables and desks in classrooms and lavatories and removes graffiti accordingly;
  2. Dusts and wipes blackboards and walls;
  3. Sweep floors in classroom, mops floors and lavatories;
  4. Cleans and wipes glass in showcases, telephone booths, etc.
  5. Closes windows and draws shade one-half way;
  6. Cleans and sanitizes fountains, sinks, etc.
  7. Cleans staircases and stairs assigned;
  8. Removes marks on walls, tiles, lockers, lavatory stalls, etc.
  9. Cleans and wipes classroom and hall windows as appropriate;
  10. Cleans fixtures where appropriate;
  11. Cleans desks daily;
  12. Services toilet tissues and hand towels;
  13. Cleans administration and staff offices;
  14. Vacuum offices with carpeting;
  15. Maintains and cleans administrative restroom facilities;                                                    
  16. Performs related work as requested.

Design and implement practice, skill development, strategies, rules, supervision and proper conditioning for the assigned sport.  First Aid, CPR, AED, Concussion certification and a valid NYS Coach Certificate.

Knowledge of and ability to provide instruction that is specially designed to meet the needs of high school students with disabilities in a Co-teaching, Special Class, and Resource Room setting. Experience in teaching grades 9 - 12 Science to students with disabilities.  Excessive knowledge of and ability to implement strategies to address the needs of diverse learners; Experience utilizing formative assessments to inform instructional decision-making; Skilled at working with diverse student populations; Ability to implement behavioral and positive effective classroom management strategies. Experience with effectively managing student behavior. Capacity to utilize technology to enhance practice.  Must possess New York State Certification: Permanent Special Education or Students with Disabilities 7-12, Science Content extension(s) 7-12
